We are delighted to announce that one of Horizon’s Training Instructors, Michael Backhouse, has successfully passed the rigorous selection process to become a Senior IPAF Instructor.
Mick became a Trainer in January 2004 after initially starting his career in the Powered Access Industry as a Driver/Demonstrator. He joined Horizon Platforms in 2011 and has been pivotal to the success of Horizon’s delivery of high quality IPAF training.
Mick commented on his recent achievement: ‘Becoming a Senior Instructor brings new and exciting opportunities for both me and the company, by allowing us to now offer the IPAF MEWPS for Managers and Instructor Courses. This is a fantastic way to support the work IPAF do with a view of reducing accidents by training our customer’s workforce to the highest of standard’
