On one occasion one of our National Account customers called in a panic at 8pm to inform us they had forgotten to book a Scissor Lift. They needed a 19ES, delivered to a store Northern Ireland that very night for a job that had to be completed by 8.00am the following morning.
With a huge amount of effort and organisation, Horizon Platforms managed to get a machine on site within 2 hours.
There was obviously a large premium to pay as this service involved Engineers and Drivers coming into work out of hours to ensure that we met the deadline. Horizon’s customer was delighted saving thousands, avoiding a re-visit to site and embarrassment in front of their client.
